The New Season

Once again it was time to move the hives out East to their first Manuka site.

Yes, that was the time in the morning that we got started.

Before dawn we were blocking up the hives, to keep the bees in.

The trip along the coast.

This is the track up through the native bush to the apiary.

Ready to begin unloading.

The hives are all inĀ  place ready to being collecting the Manuka nectar as it starts flowering.
